Did you know what is skimboarding? Skimboarding (or skimming) is a boardsport in which a board is used to ride on an incoming wave. It's like a surfing, except that skimming is surfing on the shore of the beach and surf like skateboarding. This is an American sport, where it came from Laguna Beach, California in 1920.

In Malaysia, skimboarding pun dah mula bertapak. Macam kat Penang, dah pernah ada International Skimboarding Competition. Kuantan pun ada coach untuk skimboarding. Dekat Port Dickson pun dah ada orang main skimming. Obviously, hotspots skimming ini dekat pantai-pantailah.

I knew this from my friend, who is skimming with his brother's friends. He told me the cost for the board is RM200 for second hand! So, berapa agaknya harga first hand? Humhum.
