The indie otai; OAG Unplugged acoustic session at Istana Budaya was,... awesome! Siapa tengok orang perform kat luar Istana Budaya tu (ada Bob AF2) memang, rugi tak layan OAG masa muda-muda. Hoho
Well at first before I come to Istana Budaya, I was doubt with the level of satisfaction of the show. But then they did not disappoint me. They were like use different approach this time and it is their very first time performing by acoustic and other Borneo's rare instrument. They changed a bit their songs but it really satisfied all of the audience inside the room. Even though got some parts were like, salah main, terkantoi, salah timing and Radhi forgot the lyrics, but then I was really satisfied with the show.
They played the old songs (minus the 60's TV), Generasiku, Ikhlust, Creepie Crawlies, Nowwhy2, Slumber, Beautifool, etc. and of course the new single, British di Bawah Tanah Air and they covered Oasis's Dont Look Back in Anger and yeah, awesome!
Interaction between the band and the audience was alright. Fizul memang rockstar, back up vocal best. Nizam which-look-like-Weezer's-Rivers-Cuomo-tapi-Radhi-kata-Clark-Kent memang dengan rhythm dia best sampai putus tali. Eric and Zul seperti biasa je. Dibantu dengan seorang main violin and 2 orang lagi pemain alat tradisional yang cambest. Radhi, goofing around macam biasa. Hoho.
With RM35, it is worth to see them perform at Istana Budaya. Really. Tidak lupa jugak kepada CILI dan The Times.
And after the show, we talked with Eric the bassist and Nizam the guitarist which-look-like-Weezer's-Rivers-Cuomo. Haha. Eric still ingat kitorang. Cooool.. Last sekali sembang dengan Eric masa dia blanja karipap dekat futsal PJ kot masa form 5. Ohooo..
Thank you to Ifah and Ika for made me really go to this show. Huahua
Best best best...
