On Saturday, 9th February, me and some acquaintance (well I'm only the guy, dah ajak dudes tapi tak nak) went to the Skytrex Adventure in Taman Pertanian Shah Alam. It was in afternoon. We booked for Big Thrill challenge since it was our first time doing this thing. In short, to test the water la.

Basically Big Thrill have 24 obstacles that we need to go through and can go as high as 17 meters! These challenges need to go from a tree to a tree. But first, as we were the first timers, we need to have some training first at lower level.

You can see in those pictures, that was like one storey high, I think. Basically we have harness attach to us and 2 hooks and a thing that can make you glide. I don't remember the name. Anyway, the instructor was friendly. He thought us the dos and the don'ts. If you fail this part, you need to repeat it back.

You can see how high that is. More than 4 storey high.

This rope pulling at the first challenge is heavy, for me. They said the weightage was actually made from a block of wood, but since a customer broke the thing, they changed it to concrete block. Heavy wey. We need to pull this rope to attach our hooks to the rope in case we fall off the stairs. Every challenges have those red marked cables and ropes to attach.

First challenge, walk on the enclosed net.

2nd challenge, need to climb up more to next station and go through that zig zag board. I was literally keep hugging and hanging to the cables around the tree. The space was really limited. Kecut perut woi.

After that you need to do a flying fox. IT WAS SCARY, at first. Take a while for me to release myself to do that.

Flying fox again. I don't remember how many flying fox they have, but for sure majority of the challenges are flying fox.

The longest flying fox was probably the last one. That was super fun flying fox. Love to fly.

Yes basically this is a safe environment to test your fear of heights. Yes you can put trust on the gears that are provided by the Skytrex because I was told the gears will be checked every Monday for maintenance. And every 2, 3 challenges there will be an instructor to supervise you. You can ask them about Skytrex.

That was a very very fun activity to do at a weekend. Recommended! You can always visit their website (Skytrex Adventure) and do some blog walking for more info. I would definitely come back here and try Extreme Challenge!
