Just came back from city of Liverpool!
Went there on Thursday afternoon by bus from Manchester Coach station. Only costs me £7 for return tickets. Heavy traffic during that time most probably because of people going back home after work. Reached Liverpool, put my stuff at my friend's and off to Anfield!
Boarded Stagecoach bus number 917 at Queen Square bus stop near St. John Shopping Mall. Paid £2. There is an option to go to Anfield by taxi with same price, but just want to experience by bus full load of Liverpool supporters.
Reached at Anfield after 30 minutes or so. Bought a match day scarf for £10. Quite expensive. Took picture with Nathaniel Clyne's car inside stadium compound. To go inside of Anfield just need to scan the bar code at the entrance. So easy. Excited. We headed to our Anfield Road stand. Bought the ticket from online ticketing for £25.
There was applause everywhere, chanting. And Liverpool Football Club anthem, You'll Never Walk Alone! At 8.05pm the game started.
Mamadou Sakho was brilliant throughout the game. When the goal scored, Anfield erupted. It was a brilliant feeling. Of course when the goal scored against us the Anfield silent for 10 seconds, but then the fans already encourage the team.
Final whistle. 1-1. Disappointing result. But great experience for me to be in Anfield for the first time. To join them supporters by chanting, etc.
Will be coming back to Anfield soon if opportunity comes!
