Apparently, this guy here adopted by us after found him at the shop lot in front of our house.

He's been great with kittens we tried to took care off, but eventually, they all died.

We named him, Marmite. Why? Because we I saw him he have quite similar colour to the cat on the internet - Marmalade. He is a hyper active cat, clingy, sits like the sphinx, really likes to bug Ning Ning, playful. Something that not Ning Ning has.

He's been with us since August.

Been fostering these 3 kittens. From left - Heidi, Jack and Smeagole.

Smeagole died because of some virus. A day after that, it's Jack's turn. Suspecting the same virus.

Only Heidi left. The beautiful little kitten. Long fur. We really want to keep her at this point. We brought her to the vet and the vet said she has this diarrhoea virus that can kill her. 50 50 chance to live in a week. That explains the death of her brother and sister.

She made it. One week. She survived! She always plays with her stepbrother - Marmite.

But one day, I let her out of the house. Together with Marmite. But when I call them, only Marmite came in. No Heidi. So I went out of the house. Outside of the gate, there lies Hiedi on the asphalt. She was trying to breathe. I brought her inside. Trying to figure out what to do. It's already almost bedtime. No nearest vets are open at this hour.

She died. Heidi died in front of us.

We miss all these kittens. Marmite too. He's been calling out the kittens. So sad.

Gonna take a break in fostering kittens. Now fostering an adult cat - Marmite. Or should we just adopt him?

A few weeks ago, Eddy has been warded because of Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD). He was showing signs such as pee-ing stance, meow-ing non-stop, felt something hard in his stomach and going restless, like go here and there around me. I thought he was having difficulties to poo-ing but after doing some google-ing and cross checking the symptoms, he was having difficulties to pee, which will take his life away!

So Eddy was meow-ing non-stop on Sunday night 3am while I was sleeping. I was really worried that no vet clinics will be open on Sundays. Again, googl-ing and found Intan Veterinary Clinic. Went there first in the morning. They sent Eddy for x-ray and recommend me to go to Gasing Veterinary Hospital in PJ.

Dr Tan did the immediate surgery. Eddy's private part was inserted with tube or tract something to widening it so that the crystals in the urine can go out of his body. It was bloody red. Doc said if I didn't take him there, his bladder will explode, may cost a lot more on surgeries.

Eddy was warded for a week at the hospital, and glad that he recovered in 2 weeks after discharge! Alhamdulillah. Eddy have to eat Royal Canin Urinary S/O food to make sure that the bladder doesn't clogged up another time. During that 2 weeks, I have to keep him inside of the house to make sure him to pee a lot until there is no blood colour pee. As for now, it's good!

He's happily normal as for now!
